+1: First two that come to mind are Kenyon Martin & Penny Hardaway.

Penny averaged 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists per game in 4 games against MU in his Fresh & Soph years.

Forgot about Frazier, but I still stand with David Thompson. And Mount's shot in Madison in 1969 is still burned in my memory.

I watched that shot descend towards the basket, and like everyone else there, I knew it was right on target.

The bus ride back to Milwaukee was SO quiet.

I remember it too well. Ric Cobb was at the free throw line with one or two seconds left. Had two free throws. Missed the first but made the second, sending the game to overtime.

That's where Rick Mount broke our hearts!

Lots of great players obviously..........Thompson, Grant Hill, Pistol Pete, Rick Mount among many others.

One great performance that came to mind was Larry Hughes .....

Did Pete ever play against Marquette? I know he played AT Marquette (because I was at the game), but it was against Florida State with Dave Cowens in the Milwaukee Classic.

Croshere had 39, as a few Scoopers mentioned, and that was the best scoring game I can recall seeing against our alma mater's team. Morant's all-around domination of Wojo's best squad would have to rank up there, too.

Youngster that I am, I don't remember Frazier's NIT performance vs MU or Thompson's NCAAT game.

As I recall Deane's comment after the game was something like " Larry Hughes will be an NBA player and after watching him today......the sooner the better "
