Quote from: muwarrior69 on August 16, 2026, 11:15:00 AMI think this was discussed earlier but will Nash have 5 years to play or does last year RS eat up a year?

He'll have 5 years to be on the team.

Storr - Five schools in 5 years.  What an
effing joke.  Wait till he gets "hurt" this year and goes for 6 in 6.

And another decision, and maybe the most ridiculous: HS class of 2022 football guys who are currently professionals can leave their teams and come back to college. WTF?

Burn it all down.

Absurd — 100%.
Predictable — also 100%.

Just like Nate Oats went judge‑shopping last year for Bediako, LSU did the same with the Honorable Ronald Johnson, who sits on the 19th Judicial District Court in Baton Rouge.

Today, the SEC unanimously passed a rule to prevent players in Luis' situation from playing in the conference. So there probably will be more legal wrangling.

This will be known as the Will Wade rule.

Since when are judges ruling college sports instead of the NCAA?  It seems that student athletes are a thing of the past. They've been replaced by paid professionals. Its sad.

I don't think that's true.

Since the NCAA tried to get Congress to manage eligibility for them. You open the door to one co-equal branch, you're opening the door to them all.

You can always follow Concordia.

The NCAA is now 3-0 in appeals for district court decisions after yesterday's win. It just goes to further show that these forum-shopping lawyers picking alumni and fanboy judges to win cases can only go so far.
