Quote from: The Sultan on November 02, 2026, 05:50:05 PMPackers are really doing a disservice to MLF being the only guy out there answering questions about Josh Jacobs.

This has been their modus operandi for 2 decades to let their coach be the fall guy

Quote from: Uncle Rico on November 02, 2026, 05:54:26 PMCorrect.  Though I suspect Gutekunst and Policy would give the same answer.  Cowards, the lot of them protecting a dirtbag that isn't even good anymore

It is really bizarre to me that they are doing this. They even get salary cap relief by releasing him.

They think they need him to win.  Job protection

Yeah, I'd definitely take him as Mike Macdonald's OC.

Right or wrong; I think only a couple of teams would cut the guy for abusing women. The Packers are a normal team.

There's no reason to keep him

Jeffery Simmons is very very fun

I assume they'll try to trade for Taylor and if they get him they'll cut Jacobs. Doubt they get him though.

Looks like a good pick-up for Da Bears.

Seattle fans going to have to settle for a 16-4 season now...

Just left Lumen Field, loudest stadium I've ever been to.

Great win tonight.

The Seahawks didn't play well, but Chicago had a lot to do with that.

I was really impressed with the Bears. They are the best all-around team in the league IMHO.

Seattle is so far extremist left that they're trying to murder our military now.

They'll have to give back the Lombardi Trophy they won.  People thought that team was good

Simmons completely changed that defense.  3 yards per play with him on the field, 13 YPP with him off the field.  He is huge cause the biggest glaring deficiency on the Bears is their DBs, so that pass rush is key to any sort of successful defense.

Johnson called an excellent game offensively yesterday.  More patient than usual, picked his spots well, just a masterclass.  A byproduct of his creativity and offensive genius is some choices that can leave you scratching your head, but I don't recall a single one yesterday.  The double pass that lead to a long completion to Odunze was ballsy and brilliant.

Another good game from Caleb.  He's been nails since coming back from injury. 860 yds, 74% completion, 5 TDs, no INTs.

I don't disagree with any of that. The Seahawks are a good (but sadly not great) team, and Lumen Field is a tremendous home-field advantage ... but the Bears controlled the game from start to finish.

The Bears are the best team I've seen this season. The thing for them (and every other contender) is to be healthy and playing well in January.
