Quote from: MU82 on Today at 10:16:49 AMHe took 63% more 2-point shots as a senior (2.6 per game) than he did as a junior (1.6), and made 70% more 2-point FGA as a senior (1.7) than he did as a junior (1.0).

What a bizarre analysis. He certainly had a shift from 3FGA to 2FGA, and got to the line at a better rate.. but "63% more 2-point shots" using rounded per game averages is quite bizarre. I know you're smarter than this.

His 3FGA/FGA fell from 72.2% as a junior to 63.6% as a senior. His FTrate rose to 22.3% (still pedestrian for his size), up from 16.7% as a junior.

Quote from: MU82 on Today at 11:48:59 AMParham shot .387 from 3 in 20 Big East games - Marquette would have been foolish to not have taken advantage of that ability. He also shot .667 from 2. It was great seeing him grow his offensive game, which isn't that unusual for a good player in his sophomore season.

Where'd game 20 against a conference foe happen? Also, check your math on the .667 from 2.

Let the record note that Royce's %Shots dropped from his frosh year -- both for the full season and conference play. Thankfully, this was impacted by him getting to the line a ton more (which is great despite a 65.0% ft%.. side note 0- #FTsNoMatta).

We saw a large drop in his 3FGA/FGA as a soph... 57.4% as a fr.. to 37.2%.. maybe MU was 'foolish'?

20 games vs Big East opponents last season, including BET. And in those games, .667 from 2 and .387 from 3. At least according to Sports Reference.

The Gold stats were correct, too. Sorry/not sorry if you don't like them.

I'll accept your revisionist history.

Also, if he gets somewhat healthy I want a waiver for Ben to play 1 more year.
