If we get a W over Virginia, that'd be huge!

So right now we have:

Buy game: New Hampshire

@ Michigan
vs. Missouri (Neutral)
vs. Texas A&M or TBD (Bahamas)
vs. Virginia or TBD  (Bahamas)
vs. Wisconsin (Fiserv)

For the season ticketholders, I sure hope they start another home-and-home in Milwaukee so it's not just the Weasels this year.

I think one more high-major team is doable

MU82

Penny said 4 days ago that Memphis is in it, so I guess that's the 4th team.

Challenging field.

Nice. Just went to Atlantis earlier this year.  Nice set up, and fairly easy to get to. Just might have to make this happen.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

There are two 4-team brackets in the Battle 4 Atlantis, so Memphis may be the 4th, but instead may be part of the other four teams.

Atlantis let us play in spite of our current back-up bigs?

Crazy.

Does 18 and/or 35 have some Bahamian blood, perhaps?

It's a shame Kyle Neptune won't be at Atlantis.

Per Rocco Miller, the teams in the other half of the bracket are Xavier, Wake Forest, Penn State, and Memphis.

Seems like a decent possibility we'll host Wake Forest (50%), Penn St (25%), or Memphis (25%).

Mr. Nielsen

#59
Last year and year's past it was an 8 team bracket, 3 games.

The term, 2nd bracket, sounding like a 2 game event?

Also, the Players Era in Las Vegas moves from Turner Sports to ESPN. I wonder where Atlantis and Maui, etc. fall on the TV lineup. ESPN+ 😐

Sounds like. Guessing we'll get two at Atlantis and a third campus game with one of the junior division teams.

Thanks for the clarifications, everyone.

Bam.  Excellent news.

I made a deal with my first supervisor at TAMU. If Marquette and TAMU ever play each other in football, I will cheer for TAMU. Any other sport I would cheer for MU. They agreed so I'm in the clear!

Let's say we don't add a backup center this season. Lose 4 or 5 in the nonconf.. go .500 in NC.

Is that it?

Scary year ahead. #Hot

Missouri, Michigan, and (hypothetically) Virginia are all going to be pretty tough. Mizzou is the one that's more than winnable, especially if MU fans (there are a ton of alumni in Chicago) show up like they should.

Texas A&M, (reportedly) Memphis, and Wisconsin are all very winnable games.

I project 3-4 nonconference losses.

SchnitzelBoy

I think they'll start a home-and-home with someone else.

Maybe an ACC (Clemson or Pitt) or Big 12 (Baylor or TCU) school? Someone from the new PAC12 like SDSU would also be intriguing

We would all love taking down UW of course. I would delete the "hypothetically" but otherwise think your OOC comments are pretty good. Too early for me to project BE records. There is still time for MU and others to bring in players.

I like the addition of Battle 4 Atlantis...

But, as a season ticket holder, we really need another good / quality NC game.

With 18 still on the roster, I don't see how Marquette can avoid going 0-32.

Can we just call it the PAC State conference?

Nah, as long as he is not relied on to be the main backup in case of injury or foul trouble, MU should be ok.  Shaka is not an idiot.  As soon as the backup power forward/center and backup ball handler are signed everything will be right in the MU basketball world.  If they don't arrive, MU is walking a tight rope.  Lots of offseason left.

PS I know you were being sarcastic.  But I'm not.

Shooter - Do you have some insight?

SS has / is still connected to a guard prospect or two.  I have not heard a word about a backup " big " to replace Sheek.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think he's very likely to roll w / the roster as is.
