Will be rooting for him at wherever his next stop is. Really like Tre and agree that we haven't seen the best version yet. Hope we get to see that for him next year.

Feel Tre made no 3s the year before and a couple 3s this year but his defense was solid and he is serviceable. Good luck and Best wishes for Tre. Will be cheering for him.

First, glad for Tre. He'll choose a place where he should get an opportunity to play.

Second, this got me thinking about the question that several Scoopers had asked: "Who would be willing to leave and take a pay cut?"

Well, now we know that Tre would, seemingly because he wants to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond. Or maybe Shaka told Tre that his NIL $$$ was going to get cut even if he stayed, so feel free to explore other opportunities.

Either way, the theory that nobody would leave because of "easy Marquette NIL $$$" has been proven wrong. The cockamamie theory of "I hope I'm wrong but I just don't think anybody will leave" also was proven wrong.

Oh, and it'll be pretty surprising if Tre's the only one to enter the portal.

I mean this is also dumb. Unless we somehow have the money to make 4-5 impact NIL pickups there's no good reason Clark and especially Phillips have to go.

Thankful for some genuinely very important spot minutes for Tre over the years. Just so, so hard to be a good player at this level with such a profound lack of jump shooting ability.

The dominoes will be falling. The roster may very well be Nigel, Adrien, Royce, and Damarius at the end of the week.

the only ones left from my to go list full send are Caedin, Clark, and Philips.

If you couldn't find time on this roster this season its time to go. Marquette has 3 more redshirt freshman to give a shot.

Owens is back.  There's no reason for Phillips to move on.  Anyone with a functioning set of eyes can see there is a nice ceiling there. 

The only guys that make sense to move on are:

Tre
Sean
Caedin
Josh

And if Caedin and/or Josh stay, that won't prohibit a good team next season.

But @Nukem2 and @Vander Blue Man Group got the better deal of 2 years with the Sean news added in.

I was not confident Shaka would be willing to run off guys.  Kudos to him.
