Irrelevant. You can only play who's on your schedule.

That said, it's 15-18. But 8 of those losses came before April 17, and they're definitely not the same team they were three months ago.

Pretty sure that was a joke

The White Sox are serious business, mister.

Exactly why there should be no joy. Now that you're a real team, viewing should be painful at all moments

Derby was great.

Unrelated, few have had a rougher career tumble than Will Ferrell.

I'd say both his "Old School" co-stars have had rougher career tumbles.

Dylan Cease will be the first Blue Jays pitcher to start the All-Star Game since Roy Halladay in 2009.

Cristopher Sánchez will be the first Phillies pitcher to start the All-Star Game since Roy Halladay in 2011.

Sox had to pay $10M for a prospect to be excited about them. Consider that before you start expressing hope for free.

wadesworld

Thank God Christopher Sanchez got the start!

That didn't look good for Caminero.

Brewers acquiring Lance McCullers from the Astros for some reason.

Pitching lab must have asked for a real challenge.  Well, they got one.

Just eating innings.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Brewers love acquiring former aces long past their prime around the deadline. Doubt the pitching lab can save this one.

It's a joke, Legs. The money is fine and is in fact below slot.

I think I stumbled upon next year's unreleased ASG logo buried on MLB.com.

If Detroit continues to play well and therefore does not trade Skubal and/or Mize, they need to add a right-handed bat, preferably one that can play CF.

There are a dozen teams looking for a RH bat, so get in line!

The five AL West teams picked up right where they left off. They combined to go 0-5 on Friday, and were outscored 50-8.

Can't imagine a manager winning Manager of the Year 3 times in a row, but as of now, Murph is the runaway leader.

Wut? According to who? There literally isn't a major betting house that has him in the top 3, much less the "runaway leader" and his odds aren't much different than preseason.

Mattingly is the clear favorite, with McCullough from the Marlins and Weiss in Atlanta behind him, depending who you look at.  Pretty much every mid year article chose Mattingly.

You can think he deserves it, sure.  But saying he's the runaway leader is hilariously off base.
