The BE is sliding ... and fast. Gonna get 3 bids.  Prob the same as WCC and possibly the A10.  May not get any team to S16 for 2d straight year...

Look at these teams;

Butler, Prov, SH, Gtown - all awful.
DePaul?  Pretty much the same ...

It's getting almost as bad as the women's
BE... a joke.

Yes, all awful but none of them lost 20 games. If things don't turn around the Big East will be just another mid major conference. This off season will tell us a lot about the direction not only of Marquette men's basketball but the league as well.

Is it surprising that the 2 best teams in the conference have great post players and tough interior defense?  Take notes Shaka! Did you hear them mention all the past great post players UConn has had ?

And the announcer was raving about Saint John's extensive use of transfers. Shaka, get your head out of your ass.

Of course, I wanted MU to win last night. But I did take some consolation in having the season end in a close game instead of the kind of game I would have expected against UConn.

I suspect it would've been pretty similar to the Xavier game tonight.

Ive been told time and time again that Ben's interior defense was superb though!
