I can't wait for the new leader of Iran, who the US killed the father, mother, sister, and wife of to absolutely not hold any grudges at all.

The beginning of the end.  So it has been told.

Quoteif Iran were to attack ships under U.S. protection transiting the Strait of Hormuz — a potential choke point in the global energy trade — American forces would respond aggressively.

Lol, I though we were already "winning decisively, devastatingly, and without mercy".  Hard to believe there's more aggressive tactics.

Iran would love for the US to send warships through the strait!

Kudos to Israel for the detailed tracking, hah.  Subs are hard to track.

Imagine going into this thinking that you could do "regime change" only to be strategically outflanked like this. Really great job guys.

"Iran has spurned two messages from Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, seeking a ceasefire as its leaders sense it is not losing the war and the US president is at the minimum feeling the political pressure.

The foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, has further said a unilateral declaration from Trump that the US had won the war would not bring an end to the conflict. The implication is that even if the US announced a willingness to end its attacks, Iran might be willing to continue the conflict in some form, or keep its chokehold on shipping seeking to navigate the strait of Hormuz.

Iran believes there can be no end to the conflict until it believes Trump has been shown the economic, political and military cost is so high that it is not worth repeating. It is instead insisting on a permanent deal that includes a US commitment not to attack Iran again."

They accepted a cease fine in the 12-day war, just for the US and Israel to rearm, and once again conduct a surprise preemptive strike. Why would they ever agree to a ceasefire without massive international assurances.

They would have been better off continuing the previous war, and actually attacking US interests instead of warning them.

Also, Iran is still shipping oil to China.

The parallels to the Ukraine war are quite eye opening eh?

Uncle Rico

Are y'all tired of all the winning yet?

- Oligarchs have been given carte blanche over nearly all media

- Christian fundamentalist, woman beating, drunk is in charge of the military

- The economy is a mess (Hi, Goose!)

- The government is murdering American citizens who are protecting their neighbors and documenting the crimes

- The President is being played like a fiddle by a war criminal who should be in jail

- Congress has abdicated all responsibility to a buffoon who is weak in both spirit and mind

- America First has been exposed as a lie as Bone Spurs in Chief has decided to turn America into a pariah so his cronies can make a few extra nickels

- The federal government is punishing states who happen to support a different political party

- The DOJ is corrupt and attacking political opponents while being gutted of its top personnel

- The FBI is run by a manchild who is taking his idiot girlfriend around the world on your tax dollars.  And it's also losing its top people because you have to be loyal not to the constitution but the buffoon in the White House

- We've managed to bring measles back and gut medical and science research to the point of setting us back decades.  Pray it away, idiots.

- We have ambassadors and senators pushing the fiction of a returning Jesus to justify a war with no real goals or end game.  Christians love killing because of Jesus.

- We've purposely decided to destroy the environment so you can save a nickel at the pump.  Whoops, jokes on you, suckers.  Gas prices are still high.

- we want to strip away the right to vote by making it harder for everyone to vote.  Just because the Pedo in Chief can't accept losing.  Just wish we had cheated in 2016 and 2024, too, no?

- And the President is a child rapist but that's ok because mediocre, middle-aged white guys can be openly racist, homophobic, misogynistic and Islamophobic again without consequence.

Mighty kind of Zelenskyy to provide the U.S. with anti-drone technology. I hope Vance and Drump remember to say thank you.

Of all the dumb shiit he's ever said, this may truly take the cake.
But hey, at least we stopped talking about the DOJ hiding files related to him possibly raping a minor for a couple weeks. unnatural carnal knowledgeing idiocracy.

(I will say, the story of him making everyone wear matching black shoes he personally picked out and them having to wear ones that don't fit (shoutout Little Marco Rubio) is a nice side story)

Well, I finally found out something Trump and I have in common - I really do like Florsheims.

Keefer has contacted their HR department before!

I think 2 weeks ago a former coworker of mine that I'm still very good friends with texted me and said Donald Trump placed a huge order to be delivered directly to the White House.  Tom Florsheim called him to confirm the order was actually placed.  He genuinely did not know about it.  And I think you can read into why he left no other comment on it.

The big winner in the war so far: Capt. Bone Spur's puppetmaster, Vlad.

Russia is emerging as the clearest economic winner from the war with Iran, Axios Markets' Emily Peck writes.

Higher oil prices are good for countries that export oil. You can see it in the data. The price of Russian crude oil has skyrocketed since the war began, surpassing the international oil benchmark this week (charted above) despite heavy Western sanctions.
