Probably not related.

Archbishop Timothy Broglio, the head of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, rebuked Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth for invoking Jesus Christ's name while discussing the war in Iran.

Broglio joined CBS News' Ed O'Keefe for a Face the Nation interview that is set to air in full on Easter Sunday, and he got candid about his feelings on the war. He also offered counsel to soldiers currently serving, advising them to "do as little harm as you can."

Asked if the war is "justified," Broglio argued it is not.

Firing them until he gets down to the ones that will execute illegal orders/war crimes. More war crimes, I should say.

But this will 100% justify ground invasion.

I also love that Israel has said they will commit no troops to a ground force.

Israel is committed to fighting this war to the last US soldier and/or last US taxpayer dollar

Relating back to the golfing thread, Israel is in the same boat as Tiger, as far as I am concerned. Used to be a big fan - now I don't care what happens to either of them.

Not sure how we on the left came out after Romney's presidential candidacy re whether its kosher to bring up politicians' religious affiliations - but Hegseth believes some real kooky crap.

You would think he'd be a fan of catholics, what with the whole rapey thing.

And an A10-warthog over the strait of Hormuz.

Except Foxnews is reporting that a source says that Iran did not shoot it down, rather it "took enemy fire" and then crashed.

Not sure how that amounts to not shot down.

A potential problem for the US. Apparently, our own intelligence says that Iran is rapidly repairing their missile silos, returning them to action within a day.

Why this is a problem? We are running out of interceptors (timeline likely aligns with the 2-3 weeks Trump mentioned for "being done"). The idea was we could destroy their missile capability before we ran out of interceptors. That may very likely be incredibly wrong given that they are apparently able to rebuild faster than we thought.

Weird.  We weeded out the deep state and DEI hires to fortify our intelligence.

I just hope any captured pilots can take comfort in knowing their secretary of war believes in no quarter for the enemy.

They are absolutely planning a ground invasion, these 12 generals told them it was an idiotic plan so they fired them.

He's been too old to fly for a few decades.  But might be eligible for new admission!

Never before in the history of this country have so many *actual* patriots been dismissed.  Sad times.

The supposed reason is because the general refused to pull 2 women and 2 African Americans from the promotions list.  Kegstand didn't like that.

QuoteThe officials said the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps had closed off an area in southwestern Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, where they believed the F-15E Strike Eagle went down.

During American rescue efforts, a U.S. UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter was hit by ground fire but managed to escaped safely, U.S. and Israeli officials said.
