Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is seeking fit, well-groomed troops to attend his upcoming "State of the Force" address — and potentially join him for a workout — according to The Wall Street Journal.
The Pentagon has asked military commanders to put forward service members for the Sept. 30 event who meet specific fitness and appearance standards, the Journal reported, citing emails it reviewed.
One such email, sent to Army commanders Tuesday, said potential attendees must pass the Army fitness test and satisfy its waist-to-height ratio, while maintaining "impeccable grooming and uniform standards (no exception)." Officials told the outlet that other military commands received similar instructions.

According to the WSJ, during the recent attack on US forces in Jordan, Iran launched 20 ballistic missiles. To counter it, we had to launch 70 of our interceptors, which we are running out of. That is a single attack that used up what was a weeks worth of missiles earlier in the war.

We can't keep up with these types of attacks. If Iran wants to, they can end up causing significant losses of life.

Fortunately, we were able to sufficiently counter the attack do that no US soldiers lost their lives, but it wasn't without cost as Iran successfully took out some jet fighters and other aircraft.

We continue to lose this war.
