LOL!  I saw the second half of Commando in theaters.  All the Catholic kids in my neighborhood joined the Congregational Church Youth Group because our friend's dad was the minister.  The group went to see Back to the Future and arrived extremely early for some reason.  The minister's son and I figured we had time to kill and snuck in the theater side emergency door and watched Commando.  The movie ended before BttF started and the rest of the group was asking "where'd you go?"  "We took a walk."

Several recent comments certainly point to that. When asked why he hadn't escalated the war, Dumpy answered "the election", as well as when he said "the war will end after the mid-terms".

So either a ground war, or tactical nukes. Since it would please Putin (and Muggsy) for the U.S. to set a precedent in using tactical nukes, that's Drumpf's most likely move.
