Rest.
Tend to as many nagging injuries as possible.
Use the time to drill down on defensive assignments, help, rotations.
In honor of Pope Leo XIV,
Matthew 25: 31-46

Also in honor of Pope Leo,  I have no enemies.  I have brothers and sisters I sometimes disagree with.

And to think I used to dread a week off.  ;D

Doing that so when I land Thursday I can deal with the 60-70 degree weather difference and can battle through the dangerous wasteland of downtown MKE #pray
Goal is National Championship
CBP profile my people who landed here over 100 yrs before Mayflower. Most I've had to deal with are ignorant & low IQ.

I would say 'drink heavily', but I accept that as a given.

Most scoopers drink heavily during games this season. A week off is a chance to sober up.

It appears that I could walk up to the ticket booth and see the game Saturday.

Yes, definitely drill down on defense because the defense this year has been sloppy at best.

Should be a decent turnout.  Will be a fun game.  Looking forward to another W.

At least there's always this ...

Last year's National Marquette Day was an alcohol-soaked rager, Kelly Meyerhofer writes. Ahead of this year's event on Feb. 7, is the university making any changes to ensure student safety?

For one, the Athletic Department worked with broadcast partners to select an earlier tipoff time. Marquette police have also coordinated with local ambulance services to reduce response times for medical incidents.

Last year, staff triaged students in dorm lobbies as the wait for an ambulance grew to an hour. Marquette police eventually called Bell Ambulances and told them to park ambulances on campus.

"My concern is if this continues or goes any further, students are going to continue to get really hurt, and God forbid we would lose a student," Erin Gannon, the dean of students, said at a University Academic Senate meeting held in the days after the 2025 event.

Fun killers!

QuoteAt the residence halls, staff confiscated 47 BORGs (black out rage gallons) — gallon jugs filled with hard alcohol and flavored water — and had to start telling dozens of students to go outside and dump them once it became too overwhelming to confiscate all of them.

I like the earlier start time because people don't show up for NMD viewing when it's a later tip time.  They'd rather just watch from home.

Forgot about the BORGs!  Let's go, NMD!!

Mike Deane once gave me $100 cash to finance a kegs & eggs.  Might have been Saturday 1pm vs #3 Memphis on CBS.

We ended up storming the court.

I went on AOL and declared Mike Deane the stud of the game.
