No, that's not true at all and inane that you think so.
The kid would have been brought to a police station until a relative could come pick him up. If after many hours no relative could be located, the kid would have been brought to foster-like setting operated by the state's department of children services. What would have never, ever happened would be the kid placed in a jail with adults.
It's hard to fathom how you believe that.

You're quip about Obama just shows how unserious you are. Nobody here believes we shouldn't have immigration laws and those laws shouldn't be enforced.
But we believe enforcement can be done in a humane, targeted and lawful manner, not with masked goons dressed like they're cosplaying Iraqi War soldier randomly stopping anyone who looks remotely foreign and demanding their papers.

I mean, did scenes like this play out during the Obama administration? (And please note, the woman the first photo these very tough men are menacing is an American citizen. The old man being dragged into the cold half naked? Also a citizen ... for 35 years!)
