Last time we played Valpo we only won by 3 as well. Dominic James at the buzzer. Of course, that game was on the road and we were ranked #8 in the country. But it's a fun factoid.

Shaka is just too far gone. Guy is saying crap like "this is a character building win" and "those guys could win the MVC" to go with RGV platitudes. Pulling that meaningless, horrific game out (the literal worst win Marquette has had since 2008) probably does more harm than good.

after listening to the postgame radio interview, i feel as if Shaka will accept a bad season. He definitely mentioned the G in RGV. So, maybe he's not uptight, feels what's happening on court is acceptable in the bigger picture. Gets a little aggravated when questioned.
