Well, good lead but..... moving the ball around still looks stuck in first.... Go Marquette!

A couple of little things I'd like to see:

1)  See the floor better, stop overdrihhling in general. 

2) On tbe defensive end I think we should take a 1/2 step back on the perimeter, once our opponent is in their h-c set.  Stevens appears to be doing this pretty well.

The last eight minutes was when MU took over, led by the freshmen.  Parham got a foul and had to sit. Gold and Stevens came in and the run began.  Add a three by Phillips and a layup by Clark.  Very nice play by the freshmen, especially Stevens.  Give credit to Gold and his rebounding also.  Let's see rotations if the score stays under 20 for awhile. 

Owens losing playing time to a freshman Phillips is interesting so far.  Norman, no bueno....

It is a bit puzzling.  I thought he would be a starter.

Owen's is just completely lost on the defensive end. Until he figures it out on that end, he's not going to play long enough to build his confidence on offense.

Completely agree. Said that the last game. Only one of them should be playing at a time with Gold getting the majority of the minutes.

I hate to give Butch credit for anything, but he's right about playing off of two feet in the paint.  We need to do a much better job of this.  It would make things exponentially easier.
