Probably depends what teams you look at.

We aren't ever getting a Tucker DeVries to come to Marquette even if we use the portal are we?

A couple of things:

If we're not forcing turns, can this team defend at all?

All of our turnovers were essentially unforced.  Indiana is not a good defensive team. 

It is beyond mind-boggling to me that we seemingly have no defensive strategy for Tucker DeVries. 

Zaide has to be that 2nd scorer and play way more off of two feet in the paint. 

Our passing after punching the paint has been a down right train wreck.

I would not play Caedin and Royce together.

Sean has to figure it out or we should give the 🔑 🔑 to NJ.  That was quite frankly an abomination.

The juiniors on this team are just really really really bad. I feel bad for Ross and Gold. The young guys are just young. I would rather lose with them on the court.

For the 2nd half my lineup would be James, Stevens, Ross. Lowry and Gold with Parham and maybe Phillips coming off the bench. At this point Jones, Owens and Hamilton are hurting MU too much to play them.

The juiniors on this team are just really really really bad. I feel bad for Ross and Gold. The young guys are just young. I would rather lose with them on the court.

It's one half of hoops, but I understand your frustration.

I think a good coach can coach up transfers and retention players.  Shaka did it year one.  Go the retention route and you must be right most of the time in recruiting and signing players.   

Indiana is not a special team.  We have really good teams we have to play.

It looks like there's little this team has to offer this year. We are seeing helter skelter offense again and a poor shooting team to boot. Anyway it's best to know the quality this team at this early stage. We will watch the teams around us who accept transfers dominate. It's a shame that our University can't pony up the bucks to get some decent transfers. It may be necessary for the University to begin accepting transfers starting at the coaches position

That's the major component in the dumpster 🔥 we just witnessed.  And btw we're not playing Houston or some of Hugggy's Cincy/WVU squads.

Norman I can agree. I'll be as harsh as anyone on Sean for his play so far in 2.5 games, he's been absolutely dreadful. But I'm willing to give him a little leash considering he hasn't played in 2 years. But it needs to turn around in a hurry, and I would be playing him minimum minutes rest of this game.
