Quote from: MuggsyB on September 29, 2025, 08:29:12 PMTeam Europe is essentially American.  They have no interest in living in Europe at all.

Speaking of over-generalizations.

Sepp, Ludvig and Viktor are the only players living in the US.

Joe Biden never lost a home Ryder Cup, just saying.

And regardless, they don't suddenly stop being European because they live here.

Good! Next stop- El Salvador. That's what these foreigners deserve for embarrassing the USA in our country.

Phil Mickelson thinks Lou Holtz is the key to future Ryder Cup success.

"I'd like to congratulate @RyderCupEurope on their victory. Your team play the first few days was sensational. More importantly, I'd like to apologize for the rude and mean-spirited behavior from our American crowd at Bethpage. As a former player, Captain and as an American, I am ashamed of what happened."

My favorite golfer of all time, maybe a bit much here, but still my favorite.

Loved Rory's answer to how it felt sticking the iron after telling the fan to stfu. Might have liked Fleetwood's response to Rory even more. Good stuff from the Euros.

Well, I can't say Phil's judgement has been shown to be good, but he seems always willing to take a gamble.

Lou Holtz hasn't even won an SEC championship. I say we go big and go after Saban. Also, you at least have to call Billy Donovan.

Well, Lou Holtz did a heck of a job managing pros in the NFL.

I'm glad Phil is offering his take.

It is a good reminder that it was Phil and his generation that started US Ryder Cup malaise. His opinion is very valuable.

I feel the same.

But we need to clarify that is wasn't all fans. It was the Bros. Toxic maggots that destroy everything in sight.

Yes.  Bro-anything is annoying as hell.

Eaxh one of them is more capitalistic than the entire Scooper community combined, so it's odd you portray them as something they're not.  Their opulent lifestyles are because of the United States, and their Euro tour doesn't exist without the United States. They epitomize the things you seemingly hate about our country.

Why do you think "BuT tHeY lIvE iN tHe UsA!!11!!" is such a flex? It's where a lot of them work.

..

Yes.  And it's where many of them spent their formative years honing their skills.  My point is that a lot of  them are culturally similar to the American born players.

They're great teammates that play for one another and are true sportsmen unlike the American team you worship because of jingoistic small mindedness.
