Al's run was once a massive event. Time to bring it back to prominence.

If it wasn't for Children's Wisconsin my son's life would be VERY different and I truly owe them. Happy to spend some time logging miles and enjoying what I can only assume will be a perfect fall day. Please consider attending!

"Children's Wisconsin is excited to be honoring the 45-year legacy of Al's Run & Walk by evolving the event into a day that offers what people loved about the original event — running, walking and coming together for a great cause — plus so much more!"

So they are doing something similar to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life? Worth a shot I guess.
"I am one of those who think the best friend of a nation is he who most faithfully rebukes her for her sins—and he her worst enemy, who, under the specious and popular garb of patriotism, seeks to excuse, palliate, and defend them" - Frederick Douglass
