No it wasn't.  Fatherhood.  Injuries.  His game was always based on a brilliant short game and putting.  Think Seve Ballesteros.  When it is all clicking, magic. If it is one percent off, the guys who hit it longer and straighter are better.

I think Ranm wins.  -10 is the score

From my spot in the corporate suites above 18, the rough looks taller than Muggsy

Lots of early birdies.  No wind in the forecast.

That's not saying much.
"I am one of those who think the best friend of a nation is he who most faithfully rebukes her for her sins—and he her worst enemy, who, under the specious and popular garb of patriotism, seeks to excuse, palliate, and defend them" - Frederick Douglass

What the H was that with Bryson?

Okay, enough of this guy.  Get rid of him and back to the golf.

MuggsyB

Oh....whoops.  I thought it was just on 🦚   Dumb of me.

Quality logistics.  Very hilly.  Consistently 2 groups behind Spaun.  Scott, Aberg, Matsuyama, and then Rose, Rory, Shane.

Taking a break and sitting in the bleachers left of 17 for a couple of groups.

They're tearing this course up.  The greens need to dry out.

Crossing the fairways, you can feel/hear the moisture.

Oakmont just isn't very hard when the players have frying pan drivers and a golf ball nuked out.  I said -10 wins, but it'll be closer to -20

That was a mistake fron Rory.  Use the driver there.

Hit a 380 yard drive, flip a wedge.  Profit.  USGA is at fault for falling asleep at the wheel.  Going to need 10,000 yard courses in a decade
