Why must our diminutive people constantly be attacked?  She has a lot of game and is only 23.  Is the course playing easy?  I never played it but it seems like it needs wind for it to be a USOpen venue.

Course is fine.  They have to move 156 players through two days and can't do anything too wild with tee boxes and pin placements but yes, the courses defense is wind because the drivers and golf ball are turbocharged and should have been rolled back years ago

It looks like a pretty solid leaderboard.  Noh was projected to be a major star.

Outside Nelly, pretty poor showing by America's top players.  Vu was JB Holmes at Porthrush bad.  82-80 raises red flags.  Khang and Coughlin didn't sniff the cut.  With a win earlier this season, maybe Yealimi Noh is reaching her potential.

Little chilly today but modest winds.
