The Marquette Golden Eagles men's basketball program has had a few notable players who transferred from Arizona during the 1980s and 1990s, including Steve Wojciechowski and Shaka Smart.

Davante was significantly more athletic than he gets credit for.  That said, he didn't have extraordinary hops.  But I did see him in MU Summer League take it coast to coast and throw it down with force.

In a perfect world MU would have guys with bounce.  I'm talking about dudes reminiscent of David Thompson and Earl Mannigault.  The story I've read is that Mr.Mannigault could elevate and take coins off the top of the backboard.  I believe he was only 6'1.
