wow.. you're right.. 18 left in the 2nd and st. john's leads the rebs, 15-8.. basically double.. WOW. still down 27-29 though.. maybe they'll pull through?  but I think we'd be rooting for georgetown.. would be a higher ranked opponent and would help us more in tie-breakers the higher they are.

Not to mention I wouldn't want to play them after a loss to the Johnnies.  They would be in no mood to lose two in  row this time of year.

GU has control, but interesting to see at least 3 dunks by the Johnnies.

Hopefully it was a good physical game... glad it wasn't a blowout so their starters had to log more minutes.

Saturday needs to get here soon.

Contrary to perception, Georgetown is not a great rebounding team. Defensively, they're average and offensively they are worse. Certainly they will have the height advantage but rebounding comes down to effort and if our guys make the right effort (no silly over-the-backs) we could see MU with the rebounding edge.

MU can do well in this match-up. The Hoyas aren't a well oiled machine offensively and if our defense stays at the level it's been the last 5 games it will help to slow it down even more. The key will be sticking to the offense and not getting bogged down in the 1-v-1.

Gtown is overrated. They're not a Top 15 team. I've been saying this for weeks now. MU is a better team and we'll prove it on Sat. with a double digit win by 10-15 points.

Key is stopping Hibbert, who is inconsistent.  But if he is getting the ball underneath, he can be dangerous and draw numerous fouls and dunks. Tires very easy and we should run.
