Funny enough,  Dent has taken exactly 100 midrange shots this season.  He has made 33 of them. It's even worse if you include shots between the FT line and at the rim where he's 8/26 on the season.

So yes,  I would be very excited if Dent takes a lot of mid range jumpers against us. If hes getting to the rim that Ill get worried, particularly in transition.

How do we eliminate Donovan Dent?  He's very efficient.  41.5% from downtown.  Can we turn him over?  I have some concen about tempo because they like to run.  We need Benny to step out and drain some threes.

To the note in the last paragraph: this fanbase has a lot of ghosts related to Ja Morant.

However, we didn't have Shaka's defense and a DPOY candidate in Stevie Mitchell. I think Dent v Mitchell/Ross is gonna be fun to watch. Mitchell is someone you NM fans might enjoy watching highlights of. He's a fun dude to watch play defense.

That knows no boundaries as far as coaches or seasons.   For Lobo fans, MU fans still have nightmares about Jean Felix, an Alabama forward, who had a career game against MU in the NCAA tournament 20 years ago.   Since then, it is a punchline that someone from the opposing team no one has ever considered will make it rain from 3. 

It happened to MU multiple times this season in conference.   Rivera from DePaul.  DuMont from Villanova.   A season ago, Bizjack from Butler.

The Mountain West gets numerous teams in the tournament each year, but they largely perform to seed. The biggest exception was SDSU getting to the Final Four, but they did so as a 5-seed.
