He had a rough game to put it mildly.  He also overhelped on penetration a lot. 

...leaving a shooter wide open. Gotta know and be aware of the situation at hand. The 'feel' for the game doesn't seem to come natural for Gold. Out of position a lot.

2. I thought Stevie was going to get killed out there.  Came close twice.
3.  I said this during the last game against SJU at MSG.  SJU plays aggressively.   The fan whips into a frenzy, which fires the team up.  Great defensive team.  Of course they get calls.  Every game all season.
4.  Kam needed help.
5.  Masterful job by Ejiofor slipping into the space Ben vacated going to help or contest shots.  That is what I want Caedin to aspire to.  That strong.
6.  Ross's F1 changed the flow of the game.  Right call.  MU never regained their footing. 
7.  MU will not face a more physical team in the tournament.  In a more hostile environment.   Phew.
8.  Saddle up.   Ride or die.

Smart people aren't afraid to change their minds and hopefully this season changed Shakas. He doesn't have enough help on this team for Kam. The recruit and develop strategy can't have any misses...and Ben and Tre are misses. Too many young guys just not ready like some of our past freshman were.

You need to use the portal to at least add a piece to your team. We wont have total portal teams fine, but it looks like the future. St John's beat us 3 times and tonight just rolled us

It will depend on the refs.   Sultan wasn't wrong in that it was a loose ball. Big East tourney at the garden, not a foul.  You aren't wrong that if the refs chose to focus on the shot to the head, it could be called differently.

The St. John's narrative here is kinda dumb.
They're 8-2 on the road this year, with those two losses coming by a combined three points.
Their two neutral court losses were by a combined four points, and early in the season when they were still figuring it out with 4.5 new starters.
The notion that they're built to win at the home/Garden is objectively false.

The Kolek / Oso / OMAX team was much stronger and had National Championship potential. Just didn't get it done.

This particular team will benefit greatly from getting out of the Big East, in my opinion.

I think this is exactly right. Jop spreads the floor but only Kam is a threat to score.

We basically ask a PF to be our secondary ball handler and creator and he takes all the heat for struggling to do it. Meanwhile our 2 and 3 (who we rightfully love) don't get any criticism for their lack of creation

The one caveat that can't be overlooked is Pitino's teams have been allowed to play this way for whatever reason. His L'Ville team got away with murder all the way to a championship

He was accepted into Ivy Leagues. He's one of the top humans in the world at what he does. He's very obviously a smart person. Much smarter than you, clearly.
