Seems that Shaka has been using this for bulletin board material. This feels like the "outsiders" that are naysaying.

We should maybe give a gift basket to Seth. Team was needing something to unify them and get a chip on their shoulder--this is it.

I think it makes sense that Marquette fans are naturally a little sensitive about our team. We are often overlooked by the local media in Wisconsin, by the East Coast media within the Big East, and by national outlets would prefer to cover P5/football schools. It gives our fans a chip on their shoulder that makes things fun when someone online "disrespects" the team or our players. Plus, dunking on freezing cold takes is what makes Big East twitter fun.

Most, if not all, of the national CBB podcasts I've listened to have some kind of bit about at least one member of the podcast "hating" Marquette because of the fans on social media.  They don't do it about many teams.  Indiana being one of the others.

Idk listen to any BE centric ones and I get the vibe we ain't even top 5 in our own league

And providence is unanimously 1st at the very least.

I follow a bunch of CBB twitter stuff and I see the seth David Kam replies for any pundit making a comment on any team or player. I find them entertaining.
