Quote from: WhiteTrash on April 23, 2026, 05:24:11 PMIMO, he should keep his job. If this doesn't affect the team or his job performance, let him continue.

I get that it is a story, but it's kind of none of our business what he does in his personal life.

I can make the argument of an unfair competitive advantage slipping Russini more than the secret meat but coaches and GMs do that without banging press members, so who knows

An advantage for Russini? If we're going to start holding sports writers to the same ethical standard of the press, then yes her resignation was valid.

If Vrabel was violating team or NFL policies, then he should be fired. Those are the terms of employment he agreed to.

No, the Titans.  Did her relationship with Vrabel benefit Tennessee?   Did she share info with him that was shared confidentially?  Did she report stories that benefited the Titans?

He's apparently going to see a therapist (Day 3 of the draft) and continue to have "hard" conversations.  Again, this isn't going to end well.

Vrabel spoke again about 20 minutes ago.

Whoever is giving him advice or PR help should probably stop.

Reiterating that your family is your top priority and needs you now, just to walk away to the draft room is something.

That might be his family now.

Intentionally funny or not, that's a really good point.

Tough luck for the division when the Packers have the first and second best QBs in the North.

I think Love can be first by year end though.

Probably does not factor in the Seahawks playing 7 QB2's during the season :)

That really makes their Super Bowl insignificant.  I wouldn't celebrate it.

The Seahawks didn't even really win the Super Bowl because Brady wasn't playing for the Patriots.

The Packers were much more deserving.

Seahawks are simply a better organization with better fans.  More Super Bowl titles this century and more appearances.

Packers are a nice organization but winning isn't a priority.

Winning wasn't a priority for the Seahawks last season, either. They just lucked their way to 17 wins. They wouldn't have even been allowed to play in the Super Bowl if not for all the lobbying by Seattle Times sportswriters, who stoopidly called them "good."

I hate when hometown fans and journalists talk about their teams.  It was wild to me the Seattle press thought the Mariners and Seahawks were good last year.  They weren't.

Gosh, it would have been nice had someone in the Seahawks organization grown up in Green Bay and worked for the Packers previously. They would have made a good president!

Sure would have.  At least we have a sled hill but that beats winning a Super Bowl based on "luck"

Nothing says "I care about player safety" as making the Rams and Packers play a Wednesday game.
