Quote from: Shaka Shart on Today at 03:35:05 PMThose wins don't count. I agree. Would rather go 3-14 with three wins vs the top of the nfc tbh. No taking the easy way out for this guy

It illustrates that there are ridiculously uneven schedules in the NFL.

At the beginning of the season their fourth place schedule was rated among one of the hardest in the NFL.

I agree they shouldn't count most of these wins because it turned out to not be as tough

Agreed, the fact that some teams are in the NFC South and AFC South is ridiculous.

Shaka Shart

The 9-2 patriots have the easiest schedule so far and the 24th easiest schedule remaining. By Muggsy's logic they shouldn't make the playoffs

They're good.  The Bears aren't.

Imagine caring about strength of schedule this season as a Bears fan, couldn't be me. It's valid if people are talking crazy like they are NFC contenders but otherwise, who really cares?

As a Bears fan I couldn't ask for much more for Johnson's first year.  Williams is significantly improved, that's undeniable.  Plenty to improve on, but he's become one of the best in the league at avoiding sacks, has cut down on a lot of turnovers and bad decisions leading to them, and moved past any bust discussion. Johnson has handled roster and injury challenges and gotten a team to buy in and win the games they should.  Which is far from a given for anyone who has watched the Bears the last decade.

I told a friend after the game today, that while the record in close games isn't sustainable, one of the more amusing  and encouraging things about the Ben Johnson Bears is their performance and finding ways to win close games late...after his first career game as a HC was one of the biggest chokes down the stretch you'll ever see, at home no less

Not going to argue the Bears are SB bound or maybe not as good as NE. I think the Bears are top 12-15 in the NFL. Just barely in the top half, but in the top half of the NFL, which should qualify as "good", or maybe you think the NFL is going through an historically awful phase, and less than half the NFL isn't even good?

Good teams should have to play themselves to balance the schedule.

If they can get on the side of a positive point differential, I guess good.  But I'll concede there don't appear to be a lot of good teams this year

Still going to be hesitant to call Caleb "him".

But JJ definitely is not "him"

CreightonWarrior

Caleb should be benched because of their easy schedule.

He's terrible which means he'll probably throw 4TDs next Sunday

Love was outstanding today to overcome the myriad of drops.

Watson has separated himself from the rest of the WRS. Golden needs to step up.

Time to halt any expectations on Wicks & Musgrave.

Musgrave is so soft.  Never breaks tackles.  I'd be curious how his route running is graded because it doesn't look very good

Coordination of a newborn giraffe. The next tackle he breaks will be his first

CreightonWarrior

The funny thing about Musgrave is a remember him starting to really put his game together and then he got hurt and that's the only reason Tucker even started getting PT.

The league must've been pretty concerned about the chiefs playoff spot coming in to today.

Jockey

Shedeur banged out a 13.5 QB rating today.

Surely he has earned another start or two.
