We should probably be glad to have held on to him this long, but huge loss. They have been the most successful program on campus during his time here. This is the first big test for Broeker.

Agree this is a huge blow to the program, and Theis will be very difficult act for anyone to follow.
His departure is also very surprising... in that it did not happen sooner.
