It's always interesting to hear from the other side.

"If there's an advantage for UConn, it's in the frontcourt. Power forward David Joplin is not only one of Marquette's weaker starters on defense, "Despite Joplin's defensive struggles, Karaban hasn't necessarily broken out against Marquette, scoring seven or less points of two of the three games last season."

Lmao

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Although in ghost form, Iwill persist on this board just as Herman did.

If you could also haunt Hurley a little during the game, that would be great.  Thanks.

My "go to" college roomie dropped his tix on me this morning.  He can't make it unfortunately, so I'll have to sit in his seats behind the bench tonight.  >:(
I told him this might be the one time I'd prefer to sit behind the opponent's bench.  I'll be there in GOLD!LFG!

Karaban is 3-for-21 from 3 the last four games (2 losses, an OT win over Butler and a fairly close win over DePaul), and 1-for-12 the last two games.

Also, while McNeeley obviously makes UConn a better team, hearing the guys on Field of 68 practically make it sound like he's a modern-day Larry Bird cracked me up. He's averaging 13.6 points on 43% shooting; UConn went 0-for-Maui with him; and they also barely beat Butler and Xavier with him. It's not as if they were steamrolling every opponent when he was in the lineup.

Having said all that ... Karaban will probably make a half-dozen 3s and McNeeley will return to score 20 tonight!

Have to work for our open shots.   Too many crazy shots.... UConn is all over us .... Lots of mistakes too.   We will clean this up.    Need to star now.   Let's ago Marquette!

UCONN 78% MU 21% fg.

11 points in 12 minutes.     This can't keep happening.    Time for the mean to start.... Now!

National Marquette Day does tend to lead to shitty performances. Bench has been brutal tonight and the starters haven't been much better. As for PGs, I was more comfortable when Tony Miller shot FTs than I am when Kam does. Pressing with the underclassmen in the game was a big mistake.
