Nice pre-game MU get-together at a restuarant/bar at the Phillies' park. $15 got you unlimited chicken fingers, sandwich wraps, veggies and soda.
Wound up in the upper deck next to the MU section of about 50 fans, all wearing MU colors.
Very impressed with everything we did in the second half. Shot great, played very hard on-ball defense, didn't allow much of the first-half bunnies VU was getting. Acker gave a huge lift. After we took lead in second half, TC oput in subs for a few minutes and we actually built lead. Offensive rebounding was non-existent in first half and wasn't nearly as important in second when we statred getting hot from outside. Might have been the best 20-minute effort of the season and gave me hopes for Saturday.
VU fans were for the most part pretty good but one moron yelled at us, "Marquette sucks" as we were walking out. I told him I hope he enjoys the NIT.
Drove the 450 miles back to Erie today, now getting ready for the 520 miles to Milwaukee on Friday. When this team plays as it's capable, the ride seems a whole lot shorter. Where is everyone on the board drinking after Saturday's game?

If we win I'll be at Buck Bradleys, lose I'll be at home.
