All that for a 4 pt lead.

Quote from: MuggsyB on January 03, 2025, 08:57:13 PMI don't agree with Bardo.

I mean I'm not sure with the rule, but I think you cant just call it a common foul. And I do agree its not really flagrant

So we basically got screwed cause they were blind on the live play

A "dumpster fire" results in a halftime lead.  Alrighty then

mugrad_89

Can't complain about a four point halftime lead, after how sloppy they played most of the first half.

warriors141

Lowery has missed shots he needs to make but he definitely is looking more confident offensively and he and Stevie are going to wear ashworth out

GoldenEagles03

Definitely will need to be better to win this one, but a lead is a lead I suppose.
VIOLENCE!

PGsHeroes32

We are way better. Play competent this half and roll it up

Great job by ZL there.  All things considered, we're in decent shape.

Daniel

Great hustle last 8 seconds to score!  Way to be there Lowery!  Good drive chase.  Still can't believe the no-call when he hit chase in the throat.  Ugh.    Go Marquette!

And we didn't get to the line.  But I agree with PG, we're better. Come out with tremendous intensity, force, and power in the 2H.  Wear them down, attack with zero mercy.

willie warrior

These announcers are idiots. Saying the Creighton guys elbow was a "basketball play"
WTF is that. Whether he had any intent ir not, it is a foul. What a circle jerk by the dipstick announcer and the refs
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Herman Cain

Like the hustle all half. Some more efficiency in second half is needed.

We just really need Kam to find his shot. That's his issue as point Kam right now

As an actual play maker? Still near flawless. 5 dimes. 0 Tos. And I'm guessing we had about 5 wide open misses on his passes meaning 7-8 dimes was more his output

That's exactly my take as well.  It wasn't "a basketball play".  That's complete nonsense.

I think once he gets into the paint he can plant with two feet and do some damage in the 6 foot range.

mileskishnish72

Didn't go so well when the scrubs were in.

MuggsyB

Maybe I was wrong about Gtown.

MUEng92

We've established that picks can be set by hips and elbows to the face are a "basketball play".  I have no reason to think the calls in the second half will not be consistent.

Except for the ~48 years of watching basketball.

Uncle Rico

Well-officiated 1st half imo

Gonna be honest

Had absolutely no idea who Jop was throwing that ball back to. Was pleasantly surprised to see Ben cutting through traffic

So you can still set a pick with a hip
