That's a great stat, though Purdue may have taken a transfer if Catchings hadn't asked out of his NLI so late (end of June). And last season MU and Michigan State were the only schools in the Power 5 plus BE not to have taken a four year transfer the previous off-season. 2023-24 Purdue had one: Lance Jones, a grad transfer. This year MSU has two grad transfers from mid-majors. I think MU and Kansas were the only P4 + Big East schools to not lose anyone to the Portal after last season too (Purdue lost two). A further testament to the culture Shaka has created at MU.
