Zero feel for the game tonight. This is the first time in the Shaka era that I do not have conviction on the team in November. Very much hoping that we see a glimpse of what the ceiling looks like in the next handful of games. I am looking forward to the game but would place a dime on it. My gut says that winning margin will be double digits and could be either side.

Right there with you Goose.  Just don't have a good feel for the team yet.  Need to see more from people other than Kam, Chase and Stevie.  Will be interesting to see who the other alphas on the team will be over the next few games.

Honestly, I think Marquette has 5 good starters. Even though ben is bricking threes, his defense has been much better. But i have no clue if we have any bench right now. It feels like Parham and Owens are the two best hopes for any bench production, which isn't fun.

Kam is right handed in everything he does except shoot.

Forcing him right will do no good for Maryland. They will have to try and not let him get the ball to stop him.

His footwork against CMU was very good.  Not Oso yet.   Few are.

I think Gold has improved his speed and footwork a great deal over the offseason. His defense is the worst of his worries at the moment.

Second lowest defensive adj efficiency when on the court. So the team defense is completely fine.

You must be. Gold was great tonight though in limited minutes. Gave up either 2 or 4 points all night. Once he got isoed by Gillespie at the top of the key and got beat. The other was a breakdown in communication on a switch between him and Kam when guarding Queen. I don't know if Kam or Ben was at fault.

Ben's defense is much improved. His shooting will come around. Rebounding still a weakness.
