Would be a wonderful addition to the Milwaukee sports landscape and another place for ball knowers to watch hoops.

Willie is not available for comment on this development in his hometown.

Bring back the Does!!

In regards to expansion, will be interesting to see how much further they go.  Obviously 12 is too small, but watching a decent amount of W this year, it doesn't feel like there is TONS of excess talent that needs a home.  The fall off to even the 7th-8th woman on some of the teams can be pretty stark (the Aces for example).  I think 16 is probably a good number for 5 years or so (so 1 more team after GS and the teams in Portland and Toronto).  I think the talent from those teams will come from the game continuing to grow at the collegiate level and not existing player pool...purely opinion obviously.

Skatastrophy

WNBA runs from May through October, so it shouldn't impact scheduling of MUBB. So fine whatever.

The Hippie Satan of Hyperbole

I wonder if the Arena would be a better location for a WNBA team. At least to start. But since the Bucks' owners control the FF that's probably not going to happen.

Why would anyone need swat security?  Are there dentists in the area?

6th and Brown doesn't apply to ya. It's for those with automobiles, not for those with pop up tents, hey?

Bucks can't run a decent NBA team. Why would they try WNBA, hey?

Yes, the group that won an NBA title in Milwaukee can't run a decent NBA team.

They're only 159 games over .500 since they bought the team.

The last thing 4Elder wants is anyone to be successful in Milwaukee.  He wants them and the city to fail.  Getting a WNBA team would be another feather in their cap

They'd be better if they played up on the Concordia campus. And safer. And whiter.

Would they be subject to harder fouls and mean comments like Caitlin Clark if that were the case?
