Who is next up on the chopping block?

Zac Taylor, Cincinnati
Doug Pederson, London
Mike McCarthy, Dallas
Kevin Stefanski, Cleveland

Feels like a lot of dead men walking?  Think all 4 of these are at the end of the rope.  Who gets the ax first?

Pederson. He may be back in the states by tomorrow evening.

Stefanski is my second choice. Taylor and McCarthy are safe because those owners will never pay someone not to coach.

I think Dennis Allen won't be around next year either.

Allen is a good call, too.

McCarthy following up Dan Quinn with the hiring of Mike Zimmer is a fireable offense all on its own.

But of course this was a guy who hired Mike Nolan as his first DC in Dallas. The guy most famous for bringing back the suit when he was HC of the Niners.

Zimmer cut his teeth in Dallas.  Bet the owner/GM was all onboard, too.

Probably because he may be the only guy alive who was on the staff of their last Super Bowl winner.

I voted Pederson mostly because Kahn thinks this Jags team is actually good. But my second vote would be Sirianni. He's imploding and pretty clearly doesn't vibe with Hurts, who isn't going anywhere.

Stefanski is a good coach and almost none of the mess in Cleveland is his fault. He'll still end up taking the fall for it though.

Shouldn't be Stefanski.  His previous body of work where he wasn't being forced to play Deshaun Watson is pretty respectable.

Oh I agree. But he will be fired.

I hate being a Browns fan.

Nothing is worse than having a bad owner.

He won't be next, but doubt Sirani will be the HC next year for the eggles

I wouldn't have been surprised if they hadn't brought him back this year.  He got good results early on, but he'd clearly lost the locker room and the team in general.

True, but he's great for content

He doesn't have the right temperament for the trade.

I disagree. But if you are right, he will be snapped up quickly.

It's a crazy world when you're (correctly) lumping Mike Brown and Jerry Jones in together on a finance issue.

Right?  Jerry Jones understands how to make a wise investment into his team (outside of building a good team on the field of course). Mike Brown is just dead-a$$ cheap.

Both will wait until the locker room is in flames before paying off a contract.

Maybe should have considered Sean McDermott, too
