Kole's taking over for the Knicks.  Has scored the last 8 straight for them in a one possession game.  Ironically, Johnny Davis hit a 3 footer to put the Wizards ahead and ended up pulling it out.

But that's ok, Kolek is a 2nd round pick who is playing himself into a rotation spot on a top 3 team in the East and getting Knicks social media excited and joyous.  Davis is a 3rd year lottery pick who has spent half his career in the G League trying to scrape out minutes on the worst team in the conference

I think one thing that will play in TK's favor in regard to playing time is his age. I think he is 23y and that is a not typical age for a rookie. He is entering the NBA as a man and has NBA skills. I would be surprised if he did not get real minutes this season.

His game is more refined and he's more mature physically and mentally than most rookies, especially the 18 and 19 year olds. Definitely mitigates in his favor.

Tyler overall had a solid pre season. Passing was excellent . Liked some of the buckets he made down the stretch versus Wizards, demonstrates confidence and leadership.

Needs to keep working hard in practice. So coaches are confident in giving him regular season minutes when opportunities arise.
