Kevin Willard is coming off his first losing season since 2013 and brought in a slew of transfers and All-American big to try to turn that around. Last year the offense was anemic but the defense was elite. This year, the question is if there's enough shooting to bolster that defense back to the NCAA Tournament.

Reese is a legitimate great rebounder. Assume he will have to guard Joplin on the perimeter unless they go to a zone.

Got it! agree with GoldenEagle03, and with Queen for that matter. I know its a small sample size, but...
    - 80.76% of Gold's shot are from behind the arc,but...
    - He's currently made 19% of them.
    - He also currently accounts for 13% of the team's total shots, which is 4th out of our 5 starters
        (at least that stat makes sense to me).

Honestly, this is a team I would zone if I was Marquette. Not the whole game, but for stretches. They were in the 13th percentile against zone last year according to Synergy and they really only put two shooters on the floor at the same time. Do to them what CMU did to us to get back in it.
