Wait.  An NFL team moved down field to kick a game tying field goal in less than a minute?

Our hero never gets his chance as the Jets give up a TD and are eliminated from the playoffs.

Perhaps the Jets should have gone for it to run the clock down and make the FG a game winner.

It was 4th and about ten. HOWEVER on the third down play, Rodgers threw a pass to Davante on the sideline and he was just pushed out. Had he completed a pass where the receiver stayed in bounds, Anders' kick would have happened with about ten seconds left.

Despite his best efforts, Anders Carlson can't overcome the losing stink of his QB.  This holiday season, however, Anders and his lovely young bride will continue their journey to parenthood while the QB he's burdened with will continue to ask hard questions like, "what if the moon isn't real?"

Hopefully for Anders, his idiot QB doesn't let him down today

The Anders lead Jets win! You have to wonder how different their season would have been had the Jets turned to him earlier.

BTW as I was watching that game, I kept wondering why the NFL ever agreed to put a team in Jacksonville.

The Packers best player from 2023 was 1-2 on FGs today but 3-3 on XPs

Anders motivates his teammates to score TDs to get him on the field.

McManus has held down the fort long enough. Time to trade a 3rd or 4th to get Anders back.

Anders would never think of groping a flight attendant. He has a family and is a man of our lord.

I've also wondered that too.
The only thing I could come up with was the NFL liked the idea of 3 teams in Florida and Orlando was physically too close to Tampa and they settled on Jacksonville because the Gator Bowl stadium was already there and just needed a renovation.

Out of curiosity, I read an old New York Times article on that expansion. Carolina was given a franchise pretty early in the process.

Jacksonville beat out St. Louis and Baltimore. Basically Washington's owner, who was pretty powerful at the time, lobbied against Baltimore. And they weren't sure about the proposed St. Louis ownership groups.

It was a long shot candidate at the time.  St. Louis was a long time favorite.

Not much Anders can do when the team drags him down.

Looks like Anders legs are tired from dragging the hippie QB to points on the scoreboard.

It appears the Packers best player from 2023 isn't motivated to play for such a sad sack franchise

Who do you enjoy watching more?

Anders or the bears.
