Interesting.  Not the lies that covid deniers would parrot.  Though it does echo some of their talking points, except for covid being real.

Pretty disgustingly cynical of us, for a country that wants to take the moral high ground vs China.

China's zero-covid policy without a concerted effort to long term protect the very people they were imprisoning was likely far more impactful there.

But if I were the Philippines I would be absolutely livid.
