We R Final Four

The real question is how many Marquette games will be on MAX and Peacock to make a subscription worth it just for viewing a few games.
If the answer is one.....it's worth it.
I don't miss MUBB games.

I don't think there have been any "stand alone" sports on Max yet. Maybe a random US soccer game? Peacock is $60 a year, which is 2 tickets to an MU game, well worth it.

Plus the WWE Network is on Peacock. You can't put a price on that.

Also EPL games. But it's crazy that a whole year of WWE network is the same price as a PPV 20 years ago.

And you get all of the PPVs.  Ever.  WCW and ECW too.

I will say the original standalone WWE Network created by MLBAM was significantly better.  Every match or segment for every event was searchable and bookmarked.  All went away when they moved to Peacock.

You do realize it's fake, right?

I mean yes "pro wrestling" is loosely scripted, and a match's winner is generally determined beforehand, its better to think of it as stunt show with narrative elements.

It's not for everybody, but it can be a pretty good time. Just don't, y'know, try to gamble on it or anything.

So like a broadway play with a combat scene.

The reality is that Jordan, Kim K., Mahomes, Hulk Holgan, T Swift, LeBron, Ke$ha are all the same, just entertainers.

As a 90s kid, whose parents would never spring for a PPV, I had to wait months to watch them when they would come the video store.  The fact that I can watch one now with about 5 clicks on the remote is still amazing.  It's super nostalgic, to me anyway.

Ok so watching sweaty men wrestle in their underwear - not sin. Watching sweaty men wrestle without underwear - sin.

Bah gawd! Is that step bro's entrance music?!

I feel like you are in challenge mode today Skat.  I don't believe in sin.  Only right and wrong.  And if you want to watch men wrestle with or without underwear - have at it.  But make sure they're men (>18).  You'll be thrown in jail otherwise.

I'm just making jokes. I'm very funny, you see. Everyone says so.

Didn't know if this was posted anywhere, but the president of NBC Sports Rick Cordella played basketball at Providence. He was on the 97 team. Don't know if it meant anything with the new contract, but probably didn't hurt.

I don't pretend to understand the media side of things, but if TNT has the rights to the NCAA tourney, and TNT picked up 65 Big East games, and Barkley just announced he's staying with TNT...all good sign for MU and the Big East?
