Hello, Green Bay!    Does GB have the infrastructure to handle 200k a day?   I am thinking that a whole bunch of summer homes in Door County will become rentals for the week.   Maybe just do it in and around Lambeau?
I have been to GB only three times, so I
honestly don't know.

Visitors will undoubtedly be booking hotels a fair distance away from the stadium. But they can handle that many in and around the action. However I know a fair number of people who think that's this is a pretty bad idea - that there could be some negative stories about accommodations and access.

How far out were people staying from Detroit? I guess I could see people staying in Milwaukee too.

Will 200K a day really show up in Green Bay?
I would imagine the majority - probably large majority - of attendees in Detroit were locals, and most of those who came from out of town were from NFL cities within a reasonable drive (Chicago, Indy, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo).
Outside of Chicago and Minnesota, there's really no reasonable drive from an NFL city to Green Bay. Indy would be third closest, at about 6 hours. Plus, the lack of direct flights and nearby hotels (many of which will be booked by the NFL and people working the draft) is going to serve as a damper as well.

Ann Arbor, Toledo, Birmingham,  Windsor.   Yes a large contingent from Michigan.  Grand Rapids to downtown Detroit is akin to driving Madison or Kenosha to GB.

I highly doubt people were staying in AA, Toledo, or Windsor. There are enough hotels and rentals in Detroit and around Detroit where you wouldn't need to stay 45 minutes plus away or in Canada.

The city was buzzing this weekend. I've heard nothing but good things from people who were there

Agree. Attendance next year won't be close. And that's ok.

Oh I think it will be close. I wouldn't be surprised if it's larger. Tons of Packer fans will make day-trips.

I think I might be more worried about the restaurant infrastructure than the hotels.

Detroit had a boatload of food trucks, as well as the downtown eateries and the casino.

This is what I'm thinking too.  Many many Packer fans will head to Green Bay for a day of the draft, then drive a couple hours home rather than overnighting it.
