His "owning the media" posture undermines his credibility a bit. Feels like somebody who might not be in the loop on this yet.

In his most recent tweet he's also advocating (in a whiny fashion) for one of his BBL players, Juan Nunez, to be drafted over Tyler Kolek. Seems like a guy who's starting to sense what's coming next for his dear Maxi and begrudges MU for it. I'm doubting his claim that the German basketball league routinely sees higher competition then high level D1 college.

That's not what the tweet said though.  It said definitively that he wasn't coming. What you posted is probably correct
