the amount of halfwitted dipsh*ts in the comments tonight. So many f*cking idiots.

A horrible shooting performance at the worst time but proud of our team and staff and I know they're hurting much more than any of us.

Excited for the future of this program as much as tonight sucks.

NCMUFan

Yea, lots of emotions when seeing the team play bad.
But thank you Shaka and Team for a great season overall.

Well said VBMG.  That was just horrendous and depressing to witness.  But MU will be back.

warriors141

embarrassed by the teams performance? NO

extremely disappointed and bummed out? Yes

GB Warrior

It hurts, but there's no excuse for the way I acted on this board today.

This was the best chance at making a run in a dozen years, and everyone but Tyler looked shellshocked til it was too late. Next year looks bleak for playmakers and ball handling relative to this year. Going to be hard to reinvent ourselves into a better version of this squad.

But there's no excuse for the way I acted and I'm sorry.

CTWarrior

Jeez, after putting a lot of time and energy following this promising team the past two years, and having it end with a bad performance/loss to a lesser team two years in a row, how could you not expect people to vent?
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

It's okay.  We're all a little pissed right now.  I'm more depressed than angry , and it will take time, but I 100% believe in Shaka and the MU program.

You deserve a lot of credit for acknowledging that.

It is hard to say sorry. Emotion brings out the worst in us sometimes.

Saying sorry reveals more about character than does complaining during the moment.

Kudos to you. Marquette is in a good place as disappointing as tonight was....

There's a difference between venting and abject stupidity.

All good. Please stop wishing cancer on the refs though. 😉😉😉

Actually seems pretty calm.

I typed up and almost started a thread about how this was a "pathetic performance, worst of the season" and that a squad with the experience and ability of this years team should be able to adjust to a crap shooting night but I deleted it.

The defensive effort was excellent, but tonight was bad in so many ways.

Better to just let it go and appreciate the picture as a whole

We missed shots. A lot of them, most of them really good ones.

That's fair to criticize. But man, if you missed all of the other sh*t...

We've got plenty of that Muggsy.

Now that 2024 is in the books, let's put to bet which season was more enjoyable.

2023>>>2024

As I've always said, gimme that regular season and conference tournament ship, those will last forever.

This season will be viewed as a let down, for good or bad.
This team had more in it, but we will never know.

This season  Last year was amazing but we tied for 2nd in the conference, played in the BET final, and had a great chance to go to the Elite 8 and beyond.

Give me that any day.

I think, in hindsight, I would have accepted a loss to Nova at MSG to save them from going through two more rugby matches.

Stevie and Oso gutted through it, but there's no doubt in my mind those dudes were banged up.

Completely disagree.

Last season will go down as one of the elites in MU hx.

This season will go down as letdown, despite a Sweet 16
