West: 1, 2, 3, 4
Midwest: 1, 2, 3, 5
South: 1, 2, 4, 11.   Thanks, Oakland.

The committee crushed the seeding.
Big East: 3
Big 12:  2
Big 10: 2
ACC: 4
SEC: 2
PAC ?: 1
Mid majors: 2

This year it paid to be a top team in a top conference, or Gonzaga and SDSU.

Trigger warning for PointWarrior and others who hate analytics.

13 of the top 14 KenPom teams (lol Auburn) are in the sweet 16. Joining them are #17 San Diego St, #23 Clemson, and #52 NC State.

For all the claims of pariry and no great teams this season,  this is the most chalky Sweet 16 I can recall in a while

Oh definitely. The higher seed won 14 of the 16 games in the round of 32 - and one was a #5 Gonzaga beating a #4 Kansas without their leading scorer.

There are A LOT of interesting games on tap Thursday and Friday.
