Even in the halftime studio they said, Colorado should feel ok because they are in striking distance and have a big advantage down low.

And that has absolutely been true on the court, but I think Oso is far more talented. Needs to make himself felt. I believe in him.

Oso going to come through. He has 4 points, two turnovers and zero rebounds.  He'll make it up in the second half.

Btw, props to David Joplin again today for great effort on defense.  His improvement has been really impressive.  He's largely been assigned to supposed NBA talent De Silva and has held up really well.

Was thinking the same. He's a couple tiers up on the defensive end versus last year.

Few quick observations:

1) these Colorado boys cannot guard Marquette where there is a lot of open space. Push the fast break whenever possible off of defensive rebounds, forced turnovers (a Golden Eagles specialty), and pick and rolls involving Lampkin. It's very obvious Lampkin cannot guard Oso in open space off the pick and rolls.

2) defensively, the deflections and activity is solid. The only thing is Marquette is allowing too many open looks from 3 pt land to Colorado and that is playing with fire. The assumption cannot be that they will keep missing those.
