I vaguely recall someone posting something not long ago that even a $10k donation does not secure the ability to get tickets through MU. Something like that, anyway.

That was from my UCONN friend  last year   I have to find out if that has changed

I have 4 very good tickets together for Session 1 on Friday in Indianapolis to sell.   They are lower level in Section 16, Row 16 (right at midcourt).  You can look on the Gainbridge website to see where they are located.  I am willing to sell them for $325 each (about half the cost of the ticket sites).  You can send me a personal message through this site if you are interested or provide me with your phone number and I will call you.  Thank you.

Does anyone know if there will be a pre or post game reception for MU fans on Friday at the team hotel?

I haven't been to an MU NCAA game since 2012, but for the ones I was at before there was always something like that.

I'm sure there will be! MU fans will be all over though. Columbus was a blast last year.

Driving down from Grand Rapids on Friday.  Tickets with another scooper.   Remember the secret hand shake.

Ticket secured for Friday! I very conveniently scheduled work in IN for Thursday and Friday.

Has MU announced anything yet about the team hotel or a pregame send-off/reception for fans or an official bar for the weekend?

I know they announced all such things last year and had a website at the MU Alumni page to sign up for such events and get more information... But I can't remember when exactly that info came out during the week before the Columbus games last year.

Not everyone is in A-league pickleball shape. But also: Indy a REALLY great walking city. Completely unrelated, I learned that walking to Hinkle from the Conrad may cure all hangovers.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Average person walks an 18 minute mile... So you've got 4 more minutes of walking than Columbus.

Time to trade the Allen Edmonds in for some New Balances.  :P

Speaking of elderly show choices — the is anyone else shocked at how popular the Hoka's are for the silver set?

What age do you consider the starting point for the silver set?

In the cases that I've witnessed these are people old enough not to need running shoes.

Hang on.  My MU-colored New Balance aren't cool?

Degeneratedish's (IIRC) experience in NYC ensured I check the weather forecast for Friday.   I am driving out of a snowstorm and into 65 degree weather.

Ons, Hokas, and New Balances are all I see on folks these days.

That really does not answer my question. I'm more curious, than anything else. It is a debate within our family all of the time. All I know, my wife would be a 58y silver gal if not for some expensive visits to the salon, but in the past year she ran a 50k on Mt Hood, surfed in the Pacific and going skiing in OR next week. By definition we may be silver set, but sure do not feel like it. Will add, fans on On, Hoka's and Vans.

It hadn't dawned on me that the Lady Warriors are playing in South Bend on Saturday (3:45) and hopefully Monday (TBA.)

Mrs. Hilltopper is suggesting our Saturday drive to Indy stops there first.

Anyone know what kind of game times to expect for Monday?   If it was afternoon, it might work on the drive home.

Hokas are so yesterday. Hip and trendy Ons are wear its at, aina?

My old Ons lasted two years, but were falling apart when I tossed em last year.

I don't think I'll buy another round of Ons since they were in pretty bad shape after only a year.

I'm not sure how this turned into a shoe thread, but I'm currently a fan of Olukais.
