We don't have one of our top 2 players on the court, we are hangin' in there. The 'Quette needs to hurt Cling-On.

Real talk.  Half to play the first 4 minutes of the second half even.  Can’t have to chase them down
Ramsey head thoroughly up his ass.

Great half. Love the fight from the guys. Think if we can survive this first 4 min, it’s anybody’s game.

If you told me 50 minutes ago that UCONN would need to hit a 3 at the buzzer to take a 2 pt lead at half, I’d be pretty happy to be honest

Wasn’t even close. Newton stopped and Mitchell went passed. Great shot by Newton.  Obsession with refs is unreal

I was just asking.

Oso, eff the floater, drive and dunk the %$#*& ball. It's there.

Really impressive defense from Jop, and pretty good rebounding save for a few lapses

Overall, we are in this game vs the defending national champs who are probably better this year than last.   Not bad.  Goo Marquette!

Cam Spencer:  0 points.  Keep locking him down and clean up a some of the Clingan O rebounds and we'll be in decent shape.  Felt like most of their looks from 3 were pretty well defended - a far cry from their 13 for 26 performance against us in MKE.

He’d at least get Clingan in foul trouble. His refusal to attack is maddening

Don’t know if MU would have done it, but the off the ball foul call on Lowery (6th team foul) eliminated the foul as an option on the last possession. Kind of BS what they call and don’t.

Kinda think some underestimate how difficult it is to power through a 7'2" 275lbs player.  Oso is taking good, smart, shots.  3 of 8, with a couple that rolled right off the rim.  He needs to keep shooting those.

No you are obsessed every single game with refs.

That was great defense by MU, but turnovers and many missed Oso and Kam floaters missed. Clingan effects those, no more driving please. Joplin bailed them out in last minute, awesome defensive plays.

One team gonna get hot in second, jump ball to which team it is.

Agreed.  Trying to dunk over Clingan is not going to turn out well in most instances.

And I think if going all the way to the rim fails it leads to a lot of transition opportunities.

I don’t disagree with this and don’t expect him to challenge him at the rim but several times Oso drew Clingan away from the basket. That’s when I’d love to see him attack off the bounce

I've watched enough Brook Lopez to know that's now how it works

Remember Oso was aggressive when they played In Milwaukee and they still don’t call fouls on Clingan.

Kam 2-10. Not good. Oso does have paths to the basket but keeps taking his shot put shot.

Not getting it. People saying Mitchell is playing with one arm, but Kolek cant play. Something smells there.

Excellent Defense

We just need some solid offense in the second half

Has there been a 20-18 game since 1935?

Yeah 19-17 in the Final 4 in 2000.

Correct.  Floater is a great shot as it keeps Oso in great position to get back on D if needed.
