I thought so live, but the replay from the top of the basket showed the foul was not much contact

Been watching a lot of hoops the last 3 days and the number of refs calling fouls who don't have a clear view is staggering.  The UNLV-SDSU game was a case study of premature whistles

If you look at the replay. Baseline ref put his hands up. Signaling his view of the ball was blocked.
