We give the bracket a scrub today, paying particularly close attention to the teams on the bubble. March is less than a week away and the field is starting to firm up, so we dig into the teams fighting to be on the right side of the cutline when Selection Sunday comes.

What's up with the Mountain west?  6 teams in the dance?  I watch a lot of the MW games because they are on later in the evening.  It is a tough and competitive conference but no team is as good as the top 3 in the big east.  they aren't getting a seed higher than 4.  is this a mid-major conference or something else?  I can't see them deserving more that the big east and I don't see the big east getting 6.
